About the position

The Regional Graphic Designer at Aramark plays a pivotal role within the Mid-Atlantic Region Marketing Team, which encompasses Higher Education accounts across Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and West Virginia. This position is integral to the creative operations of the team, focusing on the design, layout, and final delivery of a variety of complex projects that support operations, marketing initiatives, meal plans, events, promotions, and sales materials. The designer will collaborate closely with the Regional Marketing Director, Senior District Marketing Managers, and other team members to ensure that all design work aligns with the region's communication goals and branding standards. In this role, the designer will utilize advanced skills in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator to produce high-quality sales and operational materials. Responsibilities include managing the flow of text, inserting images, applying style guides, and ensuring that all documents meet corporate identity compliance. The designer will also be responsible for maintaining the integrity and organization of shared electronic files, ensuring quality assurance throughout the drafting, editorial, and production phases of projects. The ability to meet tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities is essential, as is a commitment to continuous improvement and best practices in design and production. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude and a strong desire to contribute to the team's success. They will demonstrate excellent project management skills, creativity in problem-solving, and strong collaboration abilities. The designer will be expected to take a leadership role in managing timelines and ensuring that all projects are completed on schedule, while also providing exceptional customer service and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. A portfolio showcasing relevant marketing or sales materials will be required during the interview process, highlighting the candidate's design capabilities and experience in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize InDesign skills to produce highly complex sales, operations, and internal support materials.
  • Deliver graphic design projects using expert PhotoShop skills and advanced Illustrator capabilities.
  • Support the region in internal and external communication and resources.
  • Demonstrate best practices to peers, clients, and the organization.
  • Gain clarification, approval, and feedback from team members on projects.
  • Assist in the integrity, coordination, and organization of shared electronic files.
  • Ensure quality assurance for all documents and materials for assigned clients.
  • Maintain corporate identity compliance, high-quality photographs, and accurate content.
  • Participate in the production of documents as needed.
  • Work non-traditional hours to accommodate workload and deadlines.
  • Commit to meeting project deadlines while managing multiple client priorities.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate to 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • College degree in design, business, or communications, or comparable work experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Coursework in advertising, marketing, and graphics is desirable.
