About the position

The Regional Head of Growth for North America at COS is a pivotal role responsible for driving the brand's expansion and growth strategy across various sales channels. This position focuses on optimizing omni-channel growth and profitability while ensuring alignment with the company's long-term business goals. The role involves collaboration with various teams to secure budgets for store expansion, manage market entry preparations, and analyze consumer data to enhance growth plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail and a passion for sustainable fashion, contributing to COS's mission of becoming a Sustainable International Power Brand in North America.

Responsibilities

  • Secure and deliver a successful growth and expansion strategy for COS in North America for all sales channels, both short and long term.
  • Create development for own channels and new business models, including different marketplaces and new revenue streams.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Growth and Regional Managing Director to prioritize yearly CAPEX/OPEX budget for store expansion.
  • Work with the H&M Group Expansion Team to align targets and manage the portfolio of existing stores.
  • Develop and manage the online expansion strategy with online teams and market launch projects.
  • Present business cases for final approval to relevant stakeholders before signing.
  • Manage stakeholders to coordinate Market Entry preparation, collaborating with Brand/Market/Global Expansion.
  • Travel to verify and review new locations/markets in line with the overall expansion strategy.
  • Actively manage the portfolio to ensure full potential is mapped in all sales channels.
  • Utilize consumer data research and insights to optimize the growth plan.
  • Lead change processes confidently, reinforcing agility and cross-functional collaboration within the Regional Team.
  • Analyze KPIs, portfolio, and planning including omni strategies.
  • Evaluate market portfolio action strategies to ensure alignment with brand market strategy.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in driving results in a rapidly scaling company.
  • Strong background in retail and growth strategy development.
  • Experience in managing budgets and financial planning for expansion.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate KPIs and market strategies.
