About the position

The Regional HR Director for the Northeast Division plays a crucial role in the leadership team, focusing on the development and administration of HR initiatives that align with the company's goals. This position involves managing various HR functions such as associate relations, performance management, recruitment, and compliance, while fostering a positive work environment across multiple locations. The director will partner with the Talent Acquisition Team to ensure timely hiring of top talent and will be responsible for leading complex investigations and training programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage associate relations and performance management processes.
• Oversee recruitment efforts to ensure timely hiring of qualified candidates.
• Conduct training on workplace policies, harassment, and diversity.
• Lead complex associate relations investigations and recommend actions.
• Collaborate with management on workers' compensation compliance.
• Serve as a resource for employees regarding benefits and FMLA.
• Validate the effectiveness of the performance review program.
• Ensure compensation equity within the department.
• Develop professional contacts in the local service community for recruitment and workforce development.
• Perform other HR functions as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
• Seven years of management experience in Human Resources.
• Bilingual, preferably fluent in Spanish.
• HR experience in a union environment preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing HR preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
• Experience in conducting training for management and staff.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS systems.

Nice-to-haves
