About the position

The Regional Human Resources Generalist position at MediLodge is a full-time role that involves traveling to various healthcare centers within Michigan to provide essential human resource support. This position is designed for individuals who are looking for a dynamic work environment that allows them to engage with staff across multiple locations while contributing to the overall success of the organization. The role is pivotal in ensuring that human resource practices are effectively implemented and that employees receive the support they need to thrive in their roles. As a Regional HR Generalist, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks related to human resources, including guidance and direction to Corporate Benefits Coordinators, management of workers' compensation claims, and assisting with the creation, modification, and review of policies and procedures. You will also serve as a liaison for payroll services and information technology support, ensuring that all HR-related processes run smoothly. Your role will require you to audit personnel files for compliance, analyze employee benefits, and manage the employee handbook. You will be the official keeper of employee records for both the Home Office and Regional Supervisors, and you will attend employee meetings and trainings as needed. Additionally, you will provide training and direction to the Payroll Benefits Coordinators in the facilities and offer guidance and support for all HR matters across the organization. This position is ideal for someone who possesses strong communication skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and a passion for human resources.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Some college experience preferred.
  • 4 years of experience in an office environment required.
  • Experience with human resource matters is essential.
  • PHR certification preferred.
  • Strong communication skills are necessary.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in healthcare human resources is a plus.
