About the position

The Regional Human Resources Business Partner (RHRBP) plays a crucial role in managing and consulting on human resources issues across multiple locations within Harmony Senior Services. This position requires a credible activist who can navigate the complexities of the employee life cycle, providing leadership and support to various stakeholders while ensuring compliance with HR policies and legal regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and management consultation regarding Human Resources issues to Regional Directors and communities.
  • Act as project lead for new business onboarding.
  • Review and recommend changes to community employee handbooks and ensure consistent application of HR policies.
  • Consult on internal HR activities including employee movement, training, compensation, recruitment, and employee relations.
  • Participate in external recruitment efforts for Executive Directors and community employees.
  • Provide direction on workers' compensation, unemployment, policy development, and employee relations issues.
  • Conduct HR audits and assist in the recruitment and orientation of Business Office Managers.
  • Deliver training for community employees and assist in developing training programs with external partners.
  • Evaluate policies and systems to assess internal equity for HR practices.
  • Manage and participate in assigned projects.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree and related experience, or high school education and related experience.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a human resource business partner supporting multiple locations.
  • Expertise in human resource regulatory items.
  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with little supervision and take initiative.
  • High level of integrity and discretion with sensitive information.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other required software; database experience is helpful.
  • Ability to operate various office equipment including computers and printers.
  • Ability to travel 75% in multiple states.
