About the position

The Regional Human Resources Generalist (HRG) at Propark Mobility is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management across designated business units in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. This role serves as a consultant to management on HR-related issues, acting as an employee champion and change agent. The HRG aims to foster a positive work culture, enhance employee satisfaction, and drive organizational success, reporting directly to the Corporate Director of Human Resources, Employee Experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting thorough investigations.
  • Provide strategic advisory support on employee relations matters and enhance people-management strategies.
  • Assist management with labor relations grievances and collective bargaining agreement questions.
  • Support employees with HR inquiries related to onboarding, company policy, and workplace conflict.
  • Provide HRIS support for Manager and Employee Self-Service portals.
  • Support managers in new hire onboarding training and orientation initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with onboarding processes and policies across the region.
  • Collaborate with Corporate HR on regional compliance and execution of recruiting processes.
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management to ensure compliance.
  • Provide coaching and support for workforce adjustments and terminations.
  • Manage cases related to leave of absence policies and ensure compliance.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of human resource generalist experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
  • Experience in recruiting, onboarding, and workforce adjustments.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience within New York and/or New Jersey state.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices and organizational development.
