About the position

The Regional Income Development Executive at Zurich is responsible for supporting sales efforts in Connecticut and potentially parts of Massachusetts. This role focuses on driving growth and profitability in the Finance & Insurance (F&I) sector, specifically within the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will cultivate relationships with existing customers and seek new business opportunities, while also providing training and support to dealerships.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate relationships and assist in driving production in current accounts and obtaining referrals for new F&I business opportunities in the Large Franchised Automotive Dealers space.
  • Support performance and key initiatives to help drive growth and profitability through ongoing training and development within the dealerships.
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders via the relevant medium - e-mail/intranet/newsletter to maintain good relationships.
  • Attend conferences, seminars, training events and other meetings to promote Zurich's marketing efforts, as needed.
  • Understand and respond to changing technology/IT requirements of customer accounts and gain internal buy-in to maintain good relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the sales area OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the sales area.

  • Strong knowledge of principles of sales, sales techniques, and sales terminology
  • Dealership training experience
  • Advanced knowledge of technology within the dealership
  • Basic knowledge of all F&I products
  • Knowledge of techniques and terminology of warranty claims
  • Ability to multi-task
