The Regional Industrial Engineer will be an integral part of a team focused on developing, implementing, sustaining, and driving results from the Labor Management System (LMS) within the Logistics region. This role involves close collaboration with site teams to facilitate the effective use of the LMS at their regional Distribution Service Centers (DSCs). As a subject matter expert (SME) on the LMS and Engineering, the Regional Industrial Engineer will provide essential support to ensure the operation of the LMS at various sites, assist in the growth and evolution of the LMS across the division, and drive productivity and financial improvements through its application. Key responsibilities include identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and operational enhancements, providing engineering support as needed, and contributing to the development of the LMS through function modeling and upgrades. The engineer will also support the LMS team in creating Preferred Work Methods and Engineering Labor Standards for operational processes at the DSCs. Utilizing engineered data, time studies, and historical performance metrics, the engineer will identify operational opportunities and drive the development of training documentation for all levels of DSC site teams. In addition, the Regional Industrial Engineer will own strategic continuous improvement projects related to the LMS at regional DSCs, work with the Data Analytics team to develop reporting and analytical tools, and assist in troubleshooting LMS end-user tools. Staying updated on the latest technologies and information in Industrial Engineering within the logistics sector is also a critical aspect of this role. The position is structured for a Monday to Friday work schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a travel requirement of 50%.
