The Regional Inside Sales Associate (RISA) at Vestis Services is a pivotal role focused on retaining and expanding the customer base within the Vestis Direct Sales business region. This position is designed to enhance customer engagement by increasing purchase frequency and average order size while generating valuable sales leads for the field-based Direct Sale Executive (DSE). The RISA will work closely with the DSE to meet team targets and is accountable for achieving individual sales metrics on a daily basis. In this role, the RISA is expected to achieve or exceed assigned revenue and margin quotas. This includes maintaining the frequency of purchases and increasing the average order size as planned for the region. The RISA will also be responsible for reducing or maintaining discount levels in line with business objectives. A key aspect of the role involves providing 10 samples weekly and successfully closing 2 sales each week. The RISA will negotiate and manage pricing strategies effectively to balance customer needs with the goals of Vestis. Additionally, the RISA will qualify warm or hot leads and promptly pass these opportunities to the appropriate DSE. The position requires a high volume of outbound calls, with a target of 50 calls per day to assigned accounts. The RISA will also provide 10 weekly leads to the DSE using Salesforce.com and is expected to track all accounts, contacts, and activities diligently. The RISA will provide 50 price quotes, leads, or RFPs to customers, aiming to close 60% of these weekly. The role involves positioning and selling the Vestis Direct Sale value proposition while delegating post-sale and customer service activities to the appropriate sales support representative. Proactively expanding business within the existing account base is essential, as is demonstrating a thorough understanding of current product needs within team accounts. The RISA will maintain strong relationships with the DSE and assigned Market Center Sales and Operations staff, attend meetings with current customers and team members, and provide accurate forecasting and current pipelines. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
