About the position

The Regional Inside Sales Manager at Woodgrain is responsible for mentoring and advising other Inside Sales Managers within their assigned region. This role focuses on driving the regional call center structure, ensuring coordination and consistency across locations, and implementing best practices in collaboration with the Inside Sales Managers and the Director of Customer Experience. The position requires exceptional communication skills and a strong customer-focused culture, with travel expected to various locations to reinforce these practices.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the coach and leader of the inside sales managers who report to them.
  • Implement best practices and problem solve across locations.
  • Travel to locations on a cadence to ensure consistent experience.
  • Utilize location evaluation form to score/coach teams.
  • Create a growth culture across their region by developing better inside sales managers who recruit, coach, and grow inside sales talent.
  • Monitor relevant metrics and track progress.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not a prerequisite.
  • Sales management experience of at least 1 year, unless currently in another role within the organization.
  • Proficient computer and 10 key operation skills (at least be able to type 45 WPM).
  • Participation in a revolving, on-call schedule to release orders as necessary.

  • Reading and interpreting financial statements.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting practices and procedures.
  • Excellent customer service and clerical skills.
