About the position

The Regional Insurance Director 2 is responsible for driving revenue growth in assigned markets through new business sales and retention. This role involves coaching and training sales professionals, fostering collaboration with service teams, and developing cross-sell relationships with other business units. The director will also mentor team members for personal and career development while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Acts as group leader for a specified number of insurance sales professionals.
• Administers business plans and goals, develops sales and technical insurance skills.
• Attends customer calls and account servicing ride alongs.
• Provides regular performance feedback to direct reports.
• Ensures adherence to all Insurance and Bank related policies and procedures.
• Assists direct reports with marketing to new prospective clients through self-sourced and bank-referred opportunities.
• Ensures regular client communication to optimize relationship opportunities and initiate cross-sell opportunities.
• Mentors team members for personal growth and career development.
• Collaborates with peer leaders within Insurance and Banking and internal corporate resource partners.
• Sustains relationships with external centers of influence and internal business partners to promote the Insurance vision for growth.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree required.
• Minimum of 15 years of job-related experience required.
• Excellent management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Ability to use a personal computer and job-related software, including MS Word (Basic Level) and MS Excel (Intermediate Level).
• Experience in related management and sales positions.
• Applicable Insurance industry licenses required.
• Professional insurance designation preferred.
