About the position

The Regional Interior Designer at Dufresne Spencer Group, LLC is responsible for overseeing the visual presentation of 13 stores within a designated area. This role involves ensuring that showroom standards are met, training visual designers, and maintaining effective communication with management. The position requires a strong understanding of furniture staging techniques and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop a consistent presence and communication with Visual Designers across 13 stores.
• Review and assess showroom presentations to ensure they meet DSG standards.
• Model appropriate behavior as per the company's mission statement and core values.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the assigned Homestore.
• Conduct regular in-person store visits to ensure proper execution of store presentations.
• Follow up with stores to address action items from previous visits.
• Train and develop Visual Designers to enhance their performance and growth opportunities.
• Maintain continuous communication with the Regional Visual Manager regarding store performance.
• Execute the 'VEC Summary' document to align store performance expectations with management.
• Ensure accurate Environmental Presentation, product placement, and internal communication.

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and exercise good business judgment.
• Strong communication skills for visual merchandising direction.
• Effective organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to remain effective under stress and respond appropriately.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in a retail home furnishings organization.
• Experience with merchandising trends and consumer behavior.
