About the position

The Regional IT Manager at ispace Technologies U.S. is responsible for overseeing IT operations in the U.S. regions, ensuring alignment with global objectives, and enhancing operational efficiency. This role involves managing IT infrastructure, budgets, compliance, and disaster recovery, while leading a regional IT team to drive technological advancement and support the company's mission of lunar resource development.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliable and secure IT systems through Infrastructure/Dev-Ops Management.
• Optimize the regional IT budget through Budget Management.
• Align IT initiatives with global objectives and regulations through Strategic Planning.
• Maintain an updated inventory of IT assets through Configuration Management.
• Develop and test regional disaster recovery plans through Disaster Recovery Planning.
• Conduct meetings and ensure policy compliance through Change Management.
• Lead and develop the regional IT team through Team Leadership.
• Oversee IT projects and communicate risks through Project Management.
• Provide support and training for end-users and staff through User Support and Training.
• Ensure adherence to regulations and manage data privacy risks through Compliance Management.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for IT operations through Performance Metrics.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies through Innovation.
• Maintain adequate IT staffing and comply with local labor laws through Staffing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science.
• 10 years+ experience in information technology.
• 5+ years experience in leadership.
• Experience with AWS, Dev-Ops, Docker, cloud solutions.
• Experience with NIST and or ISO security frameworks.
• Great communication and team building skills.
• Proven track record, aerospace experience a plus but not required.
