The Regional IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing onsite technical assistance to attorneys and staff in the setup and support of the Firm's information technology hardware and software applications. This role is crucial in ensuring that all IT-related issues are addressed promptly and effectively, allowing the firm to maintain its high standards of service and efficiency. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. The specialist will work closely with the Local IT Manager and other team members to manage Service Desk call tickets, ensuring that all requests are handled in a timely manner. In this role, you will configure desktops, laptops, smartphones, telephones, multifunction devices, and printers according to the standard configuration process. You will also be responsible for supporting users with hardware, software, and connectivity issues in both in-office and remote work environments. This includes providing technical support for conference room meetings, managing video/web conferencing, and maintaining video equipment for internal and external use. Additionally, you will contact and collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues with various IT equipment, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally. The position also involves maintaining an inventory of IT assets and participating in regularly scheduled team and project meetings. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a self-motivated attitude, allowing them to work independently with minimal supervision.
