About the position

The Regional Knowledge Manager at Gensler plays a crucial role in supporting the information and knowledge needs of various leadership communities within the Southwest region. This position is responsible for creating and executing a data strategy that enhances the accessibility and usability of Gensler's extensive project portfolio. The role involves collaboration with marketing and project teams to manage project metrics, facilitate knowledge management applications, and ensure effective communication and training for staff on data usage.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute the Knowledge Management strategy for the region.
  • Serve as the primary contact for people and project metrics, tools, technologies, and reporting.
  • Work closely with the Firmwide Data Platform team to drive adoption of KM Profile tool best practices.
  • Identify and innovate opportunities with People and Project data across the region.
  • Support the Regional Marketing team and CRM leaders to prioritize Knowledge Management needs.
  • Partner with Client Relationship owners to identify new reporting and data requirements.
  • Own the quality and quantity of project data and digital assets in Gensler's resources.
  • Implement processes and training for self-service knowledge management.
  • Participate in calls with the Firmwide Data Platform team to provide updates on data management progress.
  • Collaborate with the Firmwide Data Platform team to develop long-term knowledge management strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Management Information Systems, Library Sciences, Marketing, or related field.
  • Overall experience of around 5 years with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
  • Detailed knowledge of marketing and analytics technologies.
  • Ability to manipulate large data sets in Excel.
  • Ability to create custom Tableau or PowerBI dashboards.
  • Experience with Client Relationship Management software preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience communicating analysis to executive team members.
  • Ability to think through complex problems and present results effectively.
  • Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data querying and manipulation.
