Responsibilities

• Build and lead a local civil engineering team.
• Prepare fee proposals, engineering reports, cost estimates, field reports, and schedules.
• Negotiate, prepare, and execute contracts.
• Provide oversight and quality control for project calculations, plans, reports, and specifications.
• Provide expert knowledge of codes and jurisdictional processes.
• Prepare preliminary budgets and/or cost estimates for projects.
• Schedule projects and staff resources.
• Identify and develop market and new business opportunities.
• Lead project interviews for specific projects.

Requirements

• ABET accredited degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of job-related experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of hiring.
• Current NCEES license.
• Strong ability to build and lead a regional civil engineering team.
• Highly skilled in project and program management and delivery.
• Proven experience in land development, transportation, and municipal civil engineering.
• Established business development network at local and regional levels.
• Expert knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Proficient with WaterCAD or equivalent modeling software, Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis, ArchGIS, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficient technical writer.
