About the position

The Regional Leader for the North America Labor & Employee Relations Center of Excellence (LER COE) is responsible for driving functional strategy and providing employee relations support across the U.S. and Canada. This role involves managing a team of ER Specialists, ensuring compliance with operational and quality standards, and developing best practices to enhance service delivery. The position requires a strong focus on data analysis to improve efficiencies and effectiveness in employee relations processes.

Responsibilities

  • Drive functional strategy for the NA LER COE in a matrixed environment.
  • Provide employee relations support to operating companies across the U.S. and Canada.
  • Ensure the NA LER COE team meets operational, quality, and service level requirements.
  • Develop and proliferate scalable best practices for organizational effectiveness in LER service delivery.
  • Analyze case data to improve service efficiencies and effectiveness based on metrics-driven continuous improvement.
  • Lead a team of experienced ER Specialists to ensure high performance and delivery of quality LER services.
  • Manage a portfolio of assigned cases with significant sensitivity, complexity, or risk.
  • Act as an escalation point for HR and business clients on matters handled by the NA LER COE team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 7+ years of labor and employee relations experience in the U.S.
  • 4+ years of people leadership/management experience, including managing remote-based employees.
  • 4+ years of experience in handling employee relations investigations and preparing documentation.
  • Experience with project and change management.
  • Experience analyzing data and developing solutions for program effectiveness.

Nice-to-haves

  • Legal background in employment law.
  • Canadian labor and employee relations experience.
  • Experience in Human Resources investigations and employee separations.
