About the position

The Regional Manager for Architectural Interiors at Teknion Corporation is responsible for being the product expert in the company's Architectural Interior portfolio. This role involves conveying technical information to various stakeholders, including end users, distribution partners, and internal employees. The primary focus is on establishing and maintaining business partnerships, increasing market share, and providing technical expertise to support sales efforts within the designated territory.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain business partnerships with distribution partners, end users, A&D, and GC.
• Make sales calls and presentations to various stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date forecasts using Salesforce.
• Increase Teknion's Architectural Interior volume and market share within the territory.
• Provide technical expertise throughout the sales process, from concept development to project planning.
• Develop and execute a territorial business plan with annual goals and objectives.
• Support distribution partners with sales efforts, product training, and marketing materials.
• Collaborate with the sales team and distribution partners to identify and close major opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in Architectural Interiors, Interior Architecture, Design, or construction industries with a successful sales track record.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work efficiently and independently.
• Ability to contribute to or manage multi-discipline teams/projects.
• Strong decision-making and organizational development skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn Teknion systems.

• Experience in training distribution partner sales staff.
