About the position

You'll need to understand the big picture strategy and work with cross-functional teams and external partners. As a Regional Manager of Asset Protection, your primary responsibility will be to partner with store leadership to develop and implement an Asset Protection strategy aimed at mitigating risk and loss within our Gap Inc stores. You will conduct investigations and utilize all available resources to identify and resolve crime activity in assigned locations. Additionally, you will assist with the implementation and continued execution of the shortage reduction program, working closely with store personnel to identify inventory shortage opportunities and recommend solutions. You will also determine the assignment of appropriate Asset Protection resources, such as agents and technology, to address these shortage reduction opportunities. Your role will require you to adapt team priorities to respond to customer and business partner needs effectively. You will be accountable for team performance through teaching, coaching, and providing meaningful feedback to build capabilities within your team. This position demands strong leadership skills to drive results, as well as the ability to negotiate and build consensus across multiple stakeholders and functions. You will need to actively learn and apply new learnings into your decisions and behaviors, manage your time effectively, and prioritize tasks while probing beyond stated situations to identify underlying issues and consider possible alternatives.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with store leadership to develop and implement an Asset Protection strategy to mitigate risk and loss within our Gap Inc stores

Requirements

  • Ability to provide Asset Protection leadership to drive results
  • Experience in coaching and developing direct reports
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate and build consensus across multiple stakeholders and functions
  • Ability to actively learn and immediately apply learnings into decisions and behaviors
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize/multi-task
  • Ability to probe beyond the stated situation, identify underlying issues, and consider possible alternatives
