About the position

The Regional Manager, Channel Sales for the Southeast Region at Marvin is responsible for leading a high-performing sales team, developing strategies to drive customer satisfaction, and implementing key business initiatives. This role involves mentoring team members to achieve incremental sales revenue and profitable market share growth within a strategic dealer network. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales and leadership experience, effective communication skills, and a proficiency in leveraging technology to enhance sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day management, oversight, mentorship, training, and coaching to direct reports.
  • Function as the hiring manager for recruiting and interviewing candidates for open sales positions.
  • Conduct regional quarterly meetings and regularly assess and report on team goals.
  • Champion the use of business intelligence tools and coach the team to incorporate them into daily interactions with channel partners.
  • Develop and maintain market analysis, communicating market conditions, trends, and competitive environment to leadership.
  • Influence sales strategies to achieve annual sales, market share, and profitability goals.
  • Support business development efforts by cultivating relationships with key decision makers in the dealer channel network.
  • Identify, develop, and lead key training opportunities for internal and external partners to create brand awareness and loyalty.
  • Plan and host factory tours with targeted channel partners and influencers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in an architectural, construction, or business-related field.
  • 4+ years of sales/marketing experience in the building construction industry or related industry with a proven performance record of success.
  • 2+ years experience leading, mentoring, and motivating sales team members and cross-functional colleagues.
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand technical product information and effectively communicate it.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable motor vehicle record.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability and willingness to regularly travel throughout the region, requiring overnight stays.
  • Must be able to periodically lift up to 50 lbs.
