About the position

The Regional Manager, Clinical Operations is responsible for overseeing the development and management of various clinical departments, including Test & Treat, PrEP, nPEP, and Sexually Transmitted Disease services. This role involves ensuring efficient clinic operations, managing staff, and implementing patient retention programs while collaborating with community partners to provide care for HIV-infected individuals. The position requires strong leadership, project management, and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and processes of the Test & Treat, PrEP, nPEP, and Sexually Transmitted Disease departments.
  • Act as a liaison for Site Managers (Direct Report).
  • Responsible for hiring and selecting new employees, developing performance plans, and conducting performance appraisals.
  • Plan and direct Managers, Supervisors, and their teams' work, approving timesheets and leave, and taking disciplinary action as appropriate.
  • Utilize leadership skills to create partnerships within the medical and social service community that serve HIV-infected individuals.
  • Review and analyze monthly statistical outcomes with Site Managers to share with supervisors and team members.
  • Ensure timely responses to 24-hour PrEP, nPEP, STD & Test & Treat phone inquiries.
  • Attend leadership meetings to ensure departments meet their monthly data goals.
  • Work with community partners to track HIV-infected persons and ensure immediate care linkage.
  • Monitor employees' work product and performance through observational interviews and field investigations.
  • Review employees' cases and program papers for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Interact with healthcare professionals, executives, and vendors in the local community.
  • Manage new clinic implementations, including resources, inventory, and vendors.
  • Collaborate with Business Development and Expansion to build partnerships.
  • Update clinical standing operating procedures in coordination with supervisors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; master's degree preferred.
  • Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license & proof of insurance.
  • 7 years of related experience, including 2 years of Disease Intervention and 2 years of leadership experience.
  • 1 year of extensive working knowledge of STDs/HIV.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles.
  • Ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate department operations.
  • Ability to establish department goals and objectives that support the strategic plan.
  • Ability to effectively plan, delegate, and supervise the work of others.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, develop, and train others.
