About The Position

The Regional Manager for Companion Animals at Ceva Animal Health is a self-motivated and results-oriented leader responsible for managing sales activities within a specific region. This role involves coaching and developing Territory Managers to exceed financial targets, fostering a culture of accountability, and ensuring alignment with corporate strategies. The Regional Manager will also analyze market data, prepare sales plans, and build relationships with key stakeholders to drive sales success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Preferred minimum of 3 years of people leader/management experience.
  • Previous animal health sales and management experience strongly preferred.
  • At least 5 years of outside sales experience with proven success.
  • Must have a clean driving record and be willing to spend 8+ hours per day in a vehicle.
  • Basic computer skills needed, including experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software.

Responsibilities

  • Grow and develop individuals on the team to reach and exceed financial targets.
  • Spend 75% of available time on field-coaching rides to support Territory Managers.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and strengthen the team's core capabilities.
  • Attract top talent through recruiting, ongoing coaching, and performance management.
  • Manage internal and external customers to achieve desired sales results.
  • Monitor, analyze, and draw conclusions from operating results.
  • Perform analyses of strengths and opportunities for sales success in the region.
  • Develop and execute Regional Sales Plans annually to achieve sales goals.
  • Ensure the development and execution of each Territory Manager's Annual Sales Plan.
  • Work closely with the Veterinary Service Manager to ensure technical fluency of the team.
  • Negotiate with key buyers in accordance with the commercial policy.
  • Report to upper management on team performance and market data.
  • Hold monthly review meetings and complete Excellence Reviews for each Territory Manager.
