About the position

The Regional Manager for New England Central at ZOLL Lifecor Corp is responsible for overseeing the sales activities of Territory Managers and Sales Associates within the assigned region. This role focuses on managing medical equipment sales, building relationships with key accounts, and ensuring the team meets performance objectives. The position requires a strong emphasis on leadership, coaching, and strategic planning to drive sales success and improve patient outcomes through innovative medical technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage medical equipment sales activities and implement sales programs for the assigned region.
  • Engage with key accounts and build relationships throughout the region.
  • Meet or exceed region performance objectives, including order counts and revenue quotas.
  • Control discounts and expenses to positively contribute to profitability.
  • Hire, educate, retain, and promote talented sales professionals.
  • Foster a team environment and motivate the team by leading by example.
  • Communicate and monitor the ZOLL CMS Strategic Plan.
  • Develop Territory Managers through coaching and positive reinforcement.
  • Spend an average of four days per week working in the field with Territory Managers.
  • Assess Territory Managers' adherence to regional expectations to improve performance.
  • Reinforce product positioning strategies in the field.
  • Represent ZOLL in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Analyze and report on regional trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • At least three years of field sales experience in cardiology, medical device, or pharma industries.
  • Five or more years of experience in medical equipment sales management, preferably in cardiology.
  • Demonstrated business acumen within the medical industry.
  • Proven sales leadership.

  • Experience in managing a sales team in the medical device industry.
