About the position

Venterra Realty is seeking an energetic and ambitious Regional Manager to oversee the operations of our growing Tampa region. This role is pivotal in ensuring the day-to-day oversight of all property activities, which includes managing people-related matters such as hiring, development, assessment, and termination. The Regional Manager will also be responsible for the oversight of financial performance and key operating metrics, assisting with acquisition due diligence and takeover efforts, and making strategic decisions regarding unit upgrade plans, renewal, and new lease pricing using Yieldstar. The position requires a proactive approach to identifying value-added initiatives within the portfolio and supporting company-wide rollouts. Additionally, the Regional Manager will participate in annual CAPEX and operating budgeting preparation, engage in equity partner and senior management property tours, and identify underperforming assets to create plans for improvement. The ideal candidate will foster strong relationships across various groups within Venterra, always prioritizing the company’s values. They will be knowledgeable about surrounding markets and will work towards innovative solutions to outperform competitors. Establishing and fostering expectations for high scores on Kingsley, Google, and Apartment Reputation metrics will also be a key responsibility. Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day property activities in the Tampa region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the multifamily real estate market, specifically with conventional assets.
  • Proven track record of success in the DFW multifamily real estate market.
  • Comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, trends, and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-focused mindset.
  • Superior customer experience level with polished written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to set and uphold high standards for onsite teams.
  • Strong aptitude for collaborating effectively with senior leaders.
  • Familiarity with Revenue Optimization (Yieldstar) is preferable.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% in future years.
