Sun Country Airlines is seeking a Regional Station Manager to manage, coordinate, and participate in all representatives, supervisory, and political components for Sun Country Airlines at assigned stations. This position will also oversee air cargo contracts and ground handling contracts for stations in an assigned region. The Regional Station Manager position is responsible for managing, coordinating, and participating in all representatives, supervisory, and political components for Sun Country Airlines at assigned stations. This position will also oversee air cargo contracts and ground handling contracts for stations in an assigned region. Essential roles and responsibilities of a Regional Station Manager include building and maintaining professional work relationships with vendors, travel wholesalers, other airport tenants, the FAA, and airport management. The manager will plan resources for contracting and contracted services in the assigned station, monitor and maintain ground equipment ensuring sufficient ground support is available to handle fluctuating operations, and coordinate cooperation from other departments through requests and proper management protocol. The role also involves planning, organizing, and evaluating operational functions to ensure compliance with company standards as well as all FAA, OSHA, Customs, safety, and security regulations. Additionally, the manager will monitor and maintain scanning operations USPS/ASI database and distribute day-to-day operational information, audit related training and operating manuals for regulatory requirements, and be responsible for station on-time performance, baggage mishandles, passenger wait times, and budget variances. Any other duties assigned by management will also be part of the role.
