About the position

The Regional Manager at Coast Personnel Services is responsible for overseeing all operations within the San Diego branch, ensuring effective management of various functional areas including customer service, sales, billing, and payroll. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage a diverse workforce, drive profitability, and maintain operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and controls all operations within the branch.
• Manages a workforce including sales and field employees, involving interviewing, hiring, training, and motivating staff.
• Directs work, coaches and appraises performance, disciplines employees, and resolves complaints and problems.
• Responsible for meeting budgeted profitability, achieving sales targets, and managing expenses.
• Handles sales budgeting and P&L responsibilities.
• Controls company assets, maintaining accurate inventory records and managing usage, repair, and disposition of materials.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years management experience, preferably in a related industry with a track record of sustained profitability.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous P&L responsibility experience.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to drive revenue growth.
• Strong problem-solving and mediation skills for handling customer complaints and internal disputes.
• Solid communication skills, including the ability to coach and train employees.
• Knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or comparable business software.
