We are currently seeking a Regional Market Director to lead and develop the North America (NAM) regional sales team for Novecare. This role is pivotal in driving commercial results in terms of volume, revenue, and contribution margin. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the Novecare Value Creation Plan (VCP) in the region, which includes growing sales and managing the Integrated Contribution Margin (ICM) as per the established plan. The Regional Market Director will define the channels to market and distribution strategy, ensuring that regional promotional activities effectively support business development. This includes implementing the COA margin policies and managing pricing and margin evolution. The role requires delivering on commercial KPIs, including Sales and ICM Budgets, sales forecasts, and cash targets. Establishing and maintaining major customer relationships is crucial, as is negotiating complex agreements to meet objectives. Collaboration with Research & Innovation (R&I) and market development teams will be essential to identify, select, and manage new growth and innovation projects. In addition to these responsibilities, the Regional Market Director will manage a team of Account Managers, allocating responsibilities to represent the business at Key Accounts, Critical Accounts, and Key Distributors. The role emphasizes commercial and performance excellence best practices, cross-functional collaboration, and team effectiveness. Developing and growing talent within the commercial team is also a key focus, ensuring that team members are coached to reach their full potential. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline (chemistry, formulation, consumer markets) is required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of five years as a Business or Account Manager engaged in complex solution selling to the specialty chemical sector.
  • Experience in the specialty chemicals market is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience.
  • Hunter/entrepreneurial spirit, driven by results.
  • Ability to think strategically and propose new approaches for growth.
  • Customer orientation is a key success factor for this position.
  • Team leadership and development skills, with a focus on coaching people to their full potential.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding yearly targets.
