Responsibilities

  • Proactively lead and manage business development efforts at local and national levels.
  • Collaborate with local associations to cultivate strategic partnerships.
  • Plan, manage, and host events, webinars, and content-rich programming.
  • Develop and track annual business plans with Regional Managing Partners.
  • Design and execute innovative marketing and social media campaigns.
  • Partner with attorneys to create personalized marketing plans.
  • Regularly meet with leadership to align on marketing priorities.
  • Develop persuasive client and prospect pitch materials.
  • Conduct client research to identify new business opportunities.
  • Lead local submissions for key ranking directories.
  • Contribute fresh ideas to the business development and marketing functions.
  • Support the development of compelling presentations.
  • Manage marketing and business development budgets.

Requirements

  • At least ten years of marketing and business development experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services organization.
  • A bachelor's or advanced degree in business, marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Leadership skills and client service attitude.
  • Adept in marketing technologies, including CRM tools and social media strategies.
  • Exceptional writing capabilities, including persuasive writing.
  • Strong event management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple deadlines.
