About the position

The Regional Marketing Communications Manager at HM.CLAUSE plays a pivotal role in shaping the marketing strategies and communications activities within the assigned region. Reporting to the Global Customer Excellence Director, this position is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of marketing initiatives that align with the company's goals of supporting farmers and enhancing the quality of agricultural production. The manager will work closely with business stakeholders to define and implement marketing strategies that promote products and commercial brands, ultimately driving sales and business growth. In this role, the manager will establish a comprehensive marketing communication approach that caters to segmented customers and their personas. This includes leading and prioritizing various marketing communication channels, both online and offline, to ensure alignment with the overall business strategy. The manager will also be accountable for the marketing communications budget, ensuring that it is defined, followed up, and executed in accordance with global guidelines. The position requires the validation and control of local marketing communications action plans, ensuring they integrate corporate marketing communications actions decided at the Business Unit level. The manager will collaborate with the team and business stakeholders to develop an annual roadmap and operational marketing communication plan that aligns with sales targets, while also monitoring implementation at both regional and local levels. Additionally, the manager will conduct market research to understand customers' buying journeys and the impact of communication strategies. Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the return on investment (ROI) of marketing efforts is also a critical responsibility. The manager will participate in regional executive meetings, assisting General Managers and the Regional VP in leveraging new go-to-market approaches and marketing communication strategies. As part of the global marketing communication team, the manager will work alongside Regional Marketing Communication Managers from Asia and Europe, managing external parties such as vendors and event planners to foster a strong customer service mindset. The role also includes managing and inspiring a team of local marketing communication leads, focusing on their professional development and talent management, while fostering a culture of growth and best practice sharing across regions.

Responsibilities

  • Define strategies to promote products and commercial brands to support sales targets and strategic business growth.
  • Establish the Marketing Communication approach based on segmented customers and customer personas.
  • Lead and prioritize appropriate Marketing Communication channels in line with the business strategy.
  • Prioritize Marketing Communications projects in coordination with the business and ensure accountability for deliverables and results.
  • Define the Marketing Communications budget in alignment with the business strategy and ensure budget follow-up and execution.
  • Validate and control the implementation of local Marketing Communications action plans, ensuring integration with corporate actions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop an annual roadmap and operational Marketing Communication plan and budget.
  • Implement new branding positioning with a focus on market impact and brand recognition.
  • Conduct market research studies and interviews on customers' buying journey and communication impact.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the ROI of Marketing efforts.
  • Participate in Regional Executive meetings to assist in leveraging new marketing strategies.
  • Manage external parties, including vendors and event planners, to inspire a customer service mindset.
  • Manage and inspire a team of local Marketing Communication Leads, focusing on their professional development and talent management.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a similar field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Marketing with demonstrated abilities in managing offline and online communication strategies in B2B and B2C businesses.
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with design software (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign) and content management systems (PIM, DAM, CRMs).
  • Experience with digital tools such as apps and CRM systems is a plus.
