About the position

The Regional Marketing Director for the Multifamily Industry will be responsible for overseeing the strategic marketing initiatives across multiple properties within a designated region. In this position, the Regional Marketing Director will develop and execute comprehensive regional marketing strategies aligned with company objectives to drive occupancy rates, increase lead generation, and boost resident retention. The role also involves ensuring consistency and integrity of the company's brand across all marketing materials and communications within the region, tailoring brand messaging to resonate with diverse target audiences across different markets. The director will lead digital marketing efforts including SEO/SEM, social media, content marketing, email campaigns, and website optimization to increase online visibility and attract prospective residents. Conducting in-depth market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive positioning, and opportunities for growth will be essential, as will using insights to adjust marketing strategies and maintain a competitive edge. Team leadership is a critical aspect of this role, as the director will manage and mentor a team of property-level marketing managers, providing guidance on best practices and ensuring alignment with regional and corporate goals. Additionally, the director will act as the primary point of contact for handling marketing-related crises within the region, ensuring swift and appropriate responses to protect the company's reputation. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of related experience, with at least 5 years in a corporate leadership role within the multifamily housing industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, social media, and content strategy.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
