About the position

This marketing internship is perfect for those looking to develop a career in public sector marketing. You will gain experience in business-to-government marketing, on-site event support, social media creation, content creation, and more. You must be strategic-minded, result-oriented, and able to research, write, and execute marketing campaigns. Your contributions will enhance the buyer's/sales experience and support business goals, ensuring that all content aligns with our core message and positioning. During the 10-week internship, you will report to the Sr. Director of Public Sector Marketing, gaining exposure to the entire Public Sector Marketing Team as well as work cross functionally and build relationships with other internal stakeholders including sales. This is an exceptional opportunity for those passionate about campaign development, event execution, content development, digital strategy, and providing administrative support to the team, including tracking, measuring, and evaluating program performance to ensure ROI.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and executing events
  • Help localize global campaigns for public sector relevance
  • Coordinate with cross functional teams
  • Gather insights on target audiences and buying behaviors
  • Monitor campaign effectiveness and provide reporting/analytics
  • Support logistics for trade shows, customer events, webinars, etc.
  • Help manage pre-event promotion and post-event follow up
  • Assist in developing and tailoring marketing collateral for the region
  • Support digital engagement and demand generation campaign efforts
  • Track and report on lead generation, campaign reporting and conversation metrics

Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future
  • Available to work full-time from June 9, 2025 to August 15, 2025
  • Currently enrolled Bachelor's degree candidate studying Communications/Marketing/Business Administration/related field, ideally with a 3.5+ GPA
  • Graduating Spring 2026 or Fall 2025
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize
  • Ability to maintain an exceptional attention to detail in hands-on execution
  • Interested in learning how to execute B2G marketing customer lead generation, acquisition programs and to manage events
  • Interested in learning to use a marketing automation tool and other enterprise-level platforms (e.g. Marketo, Adobe Suite, O365, Zoom)
  • Team player with ability to develop effective working relationships across the organization
