About the position

The Immunology Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) is a field-based role responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies within the Central Region, which includes states like Illinois, Texas, Oklahoma, Indiana, and Wisconsin. The RMM will collaborate with cross-functional teams at AbbVie to ensure alignment with strategic brand plans and optimize brand performance in the immunology sector. This position involves engaging with external experts and managing marketing initiatives to drive brand success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects compliantly and effectively through the promotional review process to deliver high-quality work in a timely fashion.
  • Manage strategy, execution, and budgeting for national and regional conventions, External Expert consulting, advisory boards, and commercial peer-to-peer education programming.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of key marketing tactics and make strategic recommendations to leadership for brand optimization.
  • Provide in-depth insights based on key business questions to inform marketing strategy and resource optimization.
  • Collaborate with field leadership to optimize the implementation of marketing strategies in the assigned geography.
  • Understand market drivers, competitive landscape, and provider dynamics within the assigned geography.
  • Coordinate deliverables of external vendors and internal departments including Agency Partners, Marketing functions, Market Research, Legal, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and IT.
  • Identify and strengthen relationships with External Experts and relevant associations in the assigned geography.
  • Develop regional engagement plans for External Experts and ensure consistent tactical execution throughout the year.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Previous experience in sales, sales management, or marketing with at least 2 years of experience in Immunology (preferred)
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting Pharmaceutical Products
  • Ability to navigate a field and headquarter based matrix organization
  • Mastery of verbal and non-verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
