About the position
The Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) for Gastroenterology will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies within the Northeast region, specifically in states such as Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York. This field-based role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize brand performance and ensure alignment with AbbVie's strategic brand plans. The RMM will engage with external experts and stakeholders to generate insights and drive marketing initiatives effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects through the promotional review process to deliver high-quality work in a timely manner.
- Manage strategy, execution, and budgeting for national and regional conventions, External Expert consulting, and advisory boards.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of key marketing tactics and make strategic recommendations for brand optimization.
- Provide insights based on key business questions to inform marketing strategy and resource optimization.
- Collaborate with field leadership to optimize the implementation of marketing strategies.
- Understand market drivers, competitive landscape, and provider dynamics in the assigned geography.
- Coordinate deliverables with external vendors and internal departments including Marketing, Market Research, Legal, and Medical Affairs.
- Identify and strengthen relationships with External Experts and relevant associations in the geography.
- Develop and execute regional engagement plans for External Experts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 2 years of experience in Immunology (preferred)
- Previous experience in sales, sales management, or marketing
- Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting Pharmaceutical Products
Nice-to-haves
- Previous Gastroenterology experience preferred
