About the position

The Regional Marketing Manager (Senior Advisor) for Medicare is responsible for driving regional marketing plans across the West markets, focusing on customer growth and retention. This role collaborates with local market leadership to align marketing strategies with business objectives, ensuring compliance with regulations and continuous improvement in processes. The position requires effective communication and reporting to stakeholders, as well as the ability to identify and implement best practices for market growth.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for regional marketing plans, including material versioning and timely execution of strategies set by market and channel leadership.
  • Review and present requests for localized opportunities.
  • Act as a key conduit with channel marketing specialties (broker, provider, affinity, and enterprise marketing).
  • Drive community awareness at the regional level to support growth in micro and macro markets.
  • Collaborate with the Community Marketing Manager to develop and maintain community partnerships.
  • Evaluate learnings from existing campaigns to create effective strategies for awareness and consideration.
  • Manage metrics for all business activities, measure results, and capture learnings for continuous improvement.
  • Aid in the creation of baseline market assessments, including competitor analysis and target segment needs assessment.
  • Work collaboratively with multiple levels of business unit teams, including sales leaders and market leaders.
  • Communicate marketing priorities throughout the assigned geography.
  • Participate in the annual bid process, identifying new opportunities and trends to communicate back to the marketing organization.
  • Stay current on consumer, competitor, and product insights to inform strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or equivalent discipline.
  • 5-10 years of relevant marketing experience.
  • Experience in developing and executing marketing plans.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with sales and local market stakeholders.
  • Curious and inquisitive nature with a consumer-focused perspective.
  • Experience balancing strategy with operational realities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, team-based environment.
  • Proven ability to lead in a heavily matrixed environment.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to quickly adapt to new business areas.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and executive presence.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
