About the position

The Regional Marketing Manager at Neurocrine Biosciences is responsible for designing and executing customer engagement strategies while building connections with thought leaders and healthcare professionals. This role involves managing regional marketing initiatives, ensuring compliance with medical and commercial guidelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support national product initiatives. The position requires a strong focus on market insights and effective project management to drive the success of marketing efforts in the biopharmaceutical sector.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute customer engagement planning and execution.
  • Build connections with thought leaders and key healthcare professionals.
  • Serve as an ambassador for corporate and marketing brand teams.
  • Lead regional educational initiatives and support national product theater initiatives.
  • Identify, recruit, and develop healthcare professionals for the speakers bureaus.
  • Manage regional marketing expenses and develop regional business plans for portfolio products.
  • Collaborate with brand teams to execute regional marketing initiatives and create approved marketing resources.
  • Manage peer-to-peer activities and support training and logistics for thought leader speakers.
  • Identify regional market insights and ensure consistent implementation of marketing strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field.
  • 6+ years of work experience in field sales, marketing, or clinical experience in the same or related therapeutic area.
  • Pharmaceutical Sales, Marketing, and/or Account Management experience required.
  • Project and vendor management skills.
  • Understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks for promotion and compliance issues.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles appropriate to pharmaceutical or biologic therapeutics.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics, forecasting, and market research techniques.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional leadership and partner with colleagues across the organization.
  • Excellent computer skills, especially in PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical market principles across multiple geographic regions.
  • Familiarity with best practices in the functional discipline.
