About the position

At Pizza Hut Global (PHG), based in Plano, TX, we are on a mission to build the most loved global brand and achieve explosive growth in a competitive market over the next five years. The Regional Marketing Planning Lead plays a crucial role in advancing our Development capability by identifying the right locations for new restaurants. This position involves close collaboration with the Pizza Hut Global Franchise Markets (GFM) Development teams to support growth across various markets by sharing market planning best practices. The role encompasses a wide range of market-specific tactical projects throughout the Market Planning and Site Selection phases of Development. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining prioritized market plans that enable and accelerate the PH Growth & Development Strategy. This includes conducting benchmarking and competitive analysis, as well as developing tools and guidance on market planning, mapping, and trade area prioritization. As a Subject Matter Expert in division mapping and GIS, the Regional Marketing Planning Lead will build relationships with Development Leaders to effectively communicate and influence development commitments aligned with market plans. The role also involves cascading tools and analytics for monitoring growth strategies, market plans, demographics, and penetration potential. The primary focus will be on developing market-level execution strategies across GFM countries, particularly in Latin America and the Caribbean. This position may require 10%-15% travel, and bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain prioritized market plans to support PH Growth & Development Strategy.
  • Conduct benchmarking and competitive analysis to inform market planning.
  • Develop tools and guidance on market planning, mapping, and trade area prioritization.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for division mapping/GIS and development systems support.
  • Build relationships with Development Leaders to communicate and influence development commitments.
  • Cascade tools and analytics for monitoring growth strategies and market plans.
  • Influence GFM Development teams with market planning/mapping processes.
  • Develop market-level execution strategies across GFM countries, focusing on Latin America & the Caribbean.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • 2+ years of mapping, data management, and analysis experience.
  • Experience in multi-unit restaurant, retail, or franchise industry preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Clear influencing, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to partner well with cross-functional departments and work with all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with international and diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage workload efficiently with shifting priorities.
  • Ability to work semi-independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
