The Regional Merchandising Operations Coordinator position requires assisting the Merchandising Operations Director with all operational responsibilities within the Merchandising Department. This role demands the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, be detail-oriented, self-sufficient, dependable, and capable of coping under pressure while maintaining good judgment. Responsibilities

  • Maintain and distribute Regional Master Schedules.
  • Assist in assigning jobs, collecting job assets, and setting due dates.
  • Keep master record of regional job costs and savings.
  • Manage all regional installation schedules with outside vendors and onsite Division contacts.
  • Distribute final model specification packages and contracts for outside firms.
  • Assist Merchandising Operations Director on special projects as necessary.
  • Assist in coordinating department and regional events (i.e. holiday parties, team meetings, etc.).
  • Assist the Merchandising Teams on furniture purchasing where needed.
  • Attend model installations when necessary.

Requirements

  • One to three years' experience in merchandising, purchasing, operations, or related field, preferably in an interior design environment.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor of Arts degree preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) on Macintosh platform.
  • Moderate regional travel as needed (including overnight trips and flights).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Valid motor vehicle license - unrestricted.
