About The Position

The Regional Nurse Consultant will oversee nursing operations across facilities in the Jupiter/Wellington region, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with healthcare regulations. This role involves mentoring nursing staff, conducting quality assurance reviews, and serving as a liaison between facility teams and upper management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Regional Nurse or similar role.
• In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations and best practices.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel regularly to different facilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Regularly review and assess the standards of care across all facilities.
• Mentor and coach nursing staff, organize training sessions, and ensure continuous education and development.
• Visit each facility regularly to monitor operations, provide feedback, and assist with complex clinical situations.
• Introduce, implement, and oversee nursing policies and procedures to guarantee best practices.
• Serve as the key liaison between facility nursing teams and the company's upper management.
• Assist in staff scheduling, evaluate staffing needs, and oversee the procurement of medical supplies and equipment.
• Stay updated with current nursing practices and healthcare regulations, ensuring each facility meets state and federal requirements.
• Conduct performance evaluations, offer constructive feedback, and devise improvement plans for nursing staff.
• Act as a primary responder in case of nursing-related emergencies or crises across facilities.
• Interact with residents and their families, addressing concerns and ensuring the highest level of resident satisfaction.
