About the position
The Regional Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple nursing homes within a designated region. This role focuses on ensuring high-quality care for residents, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. The administrator will also be involved in budgeting, operational management, and fostering a supportive culture for both residents and staff.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the operations of multiple nursing homes in the region.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Manage staff and foster a supportive culture for residents and employees.
- Handle budgeting and financial management for the facilities.
- Serve as 'Manager on Duty' every 6th weekend.
- Communicate effectively with staff, residents, and families.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- At least 5 years of senior leadership experience in long-term care.
- Strong operational, budgetary, and staff management skills.
- Clinical or nursing background preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Relevant licensure in healthcare administration or nursing.
