About the position

The Regional Nutritional Account Manager at Sentido Health is a full-time, exempt position for a registered dietitian responsible for providing sales support to key accounts, direct patient education, and managing documentation processes for patients. This role includes an extensive training program aimed at preparing candidates for success in the healthcare profession, even those with little to no experience. The position requires collaboration with the area manager and patient care coordinator to ensure effective patient care and territory profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Manage pending patients through the documentation & authorization process and report results to supervisors.
  • Manage monthly/quarterly budgetary guidelines to ensure territory profitability.
  • Reach outlined monthly sales revenue targets.
  • Review, research & prioritize pending orders to ensure patient satisfaction.
  • Understand and respond to the needs of the territory and patients.
  • Manage other team members and triage situations to best serve patients.
  • Serve as a concierge to key accounts and represent Sentido in communications.
  • Create weekly routes with recurring calls to complete required physician calls.
  • Organize and complete expected face-to-face calls and telephone contacts within the territory.
  • Follow instructions in the delivery of patient protected health information and marketing material.
  • Participate in educational meetings and events as directed.
  • Function as patient ombudsman to facilitate timely service and resolve issues.
  • Manage current patient census and communicate clinical updates with staff.
  • Identify new business opportunities within call points & key accounts.
  • Maintain an on-call schedule for after-hour calls and emergency deliveries.

Requirements

  • Must be a Registered Dietician (RD).
  • Experience recognizing the needs and concerns of individuals.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Professional telephone & email etiquette.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
  • Decision-making, problem resolution, and creative thinking skills.
  • Ability to multitask while providing exceptional customer service.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual is preferred.
