The position involves providing clinical surgical support by managing all relevant equipment related to various account-specific contracted scopes of work and functions. The role requires leading timely and effective on-the-job training and onboarding activities for Onsite Specialists, ensuring they are well-educated on multiple products, processes, and complex situations. Daily operations coordination with Onsite leaders is essential to ensure effective execution and assessments of staffing and training. The individual must remain available to fill anticipated or unplanned staffing gaps and anticipate the device needs of the OR staff and surgeon during surgical procedures. Coaching Onsite specialists on the importance of anticipating customer needs during surgical procedures is a critical aspect of the role. The position also involves providing physicians and OR personnel with information on new and current minimally invasive surgical products, ensuring effective surgical care to patients as related to third-party and Stryker Endoscopy equipment. The individual must demonstrate and maintain knowledge of a broad variety of minimally invasive Stryker and third-party surgical equipment and instruments, and be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining Stryker Endoscopy equipment. Accurate recording and reporting of data metrics related to all specific job functions daily is required, along with communicating updates on account information to ensure continuous high levels of service. Building and maintaining relationships with surgeons, patients, OR personnel, Central Processing, Biomed, Sales Representatives, OR Management, Hospital Administration, and other Stryker employees and partners is essential. The role requires analyzing and resolving both routine and non-routine product issues expediently using independent judgment. Adherence to all Stryker and medical facility policies, standards, and procedures is mandatory, as is effective communication of Onsite escalations in partnership with appropriate stakeholders. The individual will also identify continuing education opportunities and schedule or host in-services as applicable, attend customer huddles and meetings as invited, and coordinate or delegate equipment management, repairs tracking, and loaner coordination if applicable. The role supports projects and continuous improvement initiatives within Onsite and requires adherence to HIPAA and other related patient confidentiality policies and procedures. The individual must embody Stryker's core values and leadership expectations, obtain and maintain a HSPA Certification as required, and carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the direct manager. A professional work ethic and attitude must be maintained at all times, along with a professional appearance as required by Stryker and the medical facility.
