DSG is seeking a Regional Operations Analyst for our Minnesota region to work out of our Plymouth, MN branch. In this full-time, salaried position, work is typically performed between the hours of 8am and 5pm, Monday through Friday, but may vary on occasion according to business needs. As a Regional Operations Analyst, you will be a key contributor to areas of the regional and branch operations that impact service and responsiveness to our customers, suppliers, and employee owners. A Typical Day in the Life of a Regional Operations Analyst at DSG includes supporting and leading projects focused on measuring and improving warehouse efficiency, reducing excess inventory, and operations-related initiatives. You will support pricing reviews and updates to ensure competitive positioning, maintain and update customer pricing profiles/contracts upon approval, and monitor and manage inventory performance. Working with branch and regional leadership, you will ensure inventory is controlled and meeting goals. You will also support the sales and operations initiatives of the regional leadership team, identify work procedures in a priority manner, prioritize workflow, and communicate priorities effectively with associates. Promoting and maintaining branch operational excellence through the Eclipse (ERP) system review and support is essential, as is notifying management regarding cost savings and profit improvement. You will identify and recommend process improvement initiatives and advise leadership as necessary regarding customer-related and/or branch procedural issues that may need to be addressed, along with all other duties as assigned.
