About the position

The Regional Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the regional operations of VNS Health by managing a variety of administrative tasks. This position involves coordinating with regional leadership to ensure the smooth execution of departmental goals and objectives, while also providing analytical support for projects related to the Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) operations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and performs a wide variety of administrative duties to support CHHA regional operations.
  • Assists regional leadership with preparation of correspondence, data, and drafting materials for presentations, reports, and publications.
  • Serves as a liaison between VNS Health departments and program/region for follow-up on issues related to educational programs, time management, health care compliance, uniforms, facility problems, and equipment tracking.
  • Assists in monitoring the regional budget, processes bills and invoices, prepares check requests, and assists with expense reporting.
  • Provides project development, implementation, and monitoring, data collection, and analytical support for projects identified to support CHHA operations.
  • Schedules meetings and events, arranges logistics and equipment needs, prepares and distributes meeting notifications and invitations, and takes and prepares minutes as needed.
  • Receives, opens, sorts, and directs incoming mail and routes outgoing mail to the appropriate area for action.
  • Answers and screens telephone calls, responds to inquiries from the community and within VNS Health, and takes messages.
  • Orders and maintains inventory of department supplies and equipment, and calls for services or equipment repairs as necessary.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Office Management or related discipline required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Office Management or related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum two years of progressively responsible office or business management experience, preferably in a health care setting.
