As the Regional Operations Director (ROD) for DaVita Kidney Care, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operational performance of 10 to 12 outpatient dialysis clinics located in the Bronx, New York City. This leadership position requires a results-driven individual with a strong operational focus, who is capable of managing a diverse team of approximately 250+ teammates, including 10-12 direct reports who are clinic managers. You will be responsible for a significant P&L of around $50 million, ensuring that financial and operational goals are met while maintaining high standards of clinical care. Your role will involve collaborating closely with a Division Vice President and other regional and divisional leaders, including finance and medical directors, to drive business success and enhance patient care. In this position, you will have complete accountability for your P&L, managing financial growth, labor management, contract management, and capital expenses. You will be tasked with driving operational, financial, team, and clinical performance through the use of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics. A critical aspect of your role will be to work directly with clinic managers to identify and address employee and patient concerns, ensuring alignment with regional goals and standards. You will also be responsible for addressing top growth priorities, leading operational conversions on acquisitions, and implementing strategic planning initiatives that maximize the region's clinical care and growth potential. The position requires frequent travel throughout your assigned territory, approximately 4 to 5 days a week, with up to 20% travel outside your territory for divisional and national meetings.
