About the position

The Regional Operations Director at Trans Ova Genetics is responsible for overseeing operational needs and managing site leaders across multiple facilities in the South region. This role is crucial for ensuring operational efficiency, profitability, and a positive workplace culture while collaborating with the US operations leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor profitability, efficiency, and effectiveness of operational units.
• Manage operation budget and OpEx spending for approximately $27M in revenue.
• Collaborate with the regional management team to support sales and achieve growth targets.
• Supervise site managers within the region, including regular check-ins, interviewing, hiring, training, performance management, and conflict resolution.
• Create and foster an inviting workplace and thriving work culture to enhance team job satisfaction.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or G.E.D., Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ability to travel within the region (20%).
• Minimum of two (2) years of operational experience in a bovine reproduction business.
• Prior supervisory/management skills.
• Desire to be extremely impactful on people and profitability.
