About the position
The Regional Operations Manager will lead operational efforts for multiple shopping malls and associated strip centers, ensuring adherence to company standards and achievement of established goals. This role involves oversight of field operations, budget administration, and support for local management teams, fostering a collaborative team environment with a commitment to employee and community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Provide oversight and support to field Operations personnel.
- Assist with the formation and administration of individual property budgets.
- Implement and evaluate various Service Contracts to ensure proper specifications are included and adhered to.
- Provide support and guidance to local Management Staff for Capital Projects completion within time and budgetary parameters.
- Review and inspect projects to ensure completion according to specifications.
- Learn and understand corporate and field policies to assist field personnel in operations.
- Develop field Operations Management Staff through leadership and training.
- Work with local Operations Management to hire appropriate personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, facilities management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and general computing technology.
- JD Edwards experience is a plus.
- Ability to be flexible, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and sites.
- Good working knowledge of budgeting, accounting, and financial analysis.
- Excellent organizational skills.
