The Regional Outside Parts Sales Manager at JX Truck Center is a pivotal role responsible for expanding and developing the company's customer base. This position requires a strong focus on building a high-performing sales team and delivering value-added services and products to the market. The successful candidate will be tasked with achieving market share and profit goals, which are critical to the success of the organization. This is a full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule, operating during first shift hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. In this role, the manager will develop and execute strategic plans aimed at maximizing profitability, growing the company's market share, and improving customer penetration. The manager will work closely with purchasing and pricing teams to optimize results and will be responsible for establishing strong, trust-based relationships with both customers and coworkers. Additionally, the position involves personnel management, where the manager will collaborate with Human Resources to recruit, hire, develop, and lead a dedicated sales team. Active management of the outside sales team is essential to create and maximize sales opportunities, and the manager will supervise and mentor employees to ensure all duties are completed effectively. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of experience and education, with a preference for those holding an Associate's degree and at least six years of related experience, or a Bachelor's degree with three years of experience. Non-degreed candidates with over ten years of progressive experience in heavy-duty truck parts will also be considered. The role demands a progressive thinker who embraces new ideas and implements change, along with basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems and electronic part catalogs. Dependable attendance and a valid driver's license are also required for this position.
