About the position

The Regional Outside Sales/Account Manager is responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of business in the snow and ice management sector. This role focuses on driving sales for SG Advantage software, deicing materials, and consulting services, while also managing existing accounts and developing new ones. The position requires a strong background in account management and field operations, with an emphasis on high-margin growth and effective communication with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sales for SG Advantage software, deicing materials, and consulting/expert services.
  • Manage assigned house accounts and develop new non-house accounts.
  • Grow and expand your own portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Consulting & Software Specialists to drive sales of software and consulting services.
  • Participate in winter weather events as needed, with minimal official responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an account manager in the snow and ice management industry.
  • In-field experience in snow and ice operations.
  • Strong sales and account management skills, with a focus on high-margin growth.
  • Ability to manage both house and non-house accounts effectively.
  • Ability to generate non-house accounts with gross margins at least 2 times base salary.
  • Familiarity with Apple computers and operating systems.
  • Bachelor's Degree or demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication without writing software.
