The Regional Outside Sales Manager at J&E Associates is a part-time, contract role focused on expanding the client base within the small business sector for a janitorial and facility maintenance firm. The position involves driving sales growth, building strong client relationships, and providing tailored solutions to meet client needs. The ideal candidate will be a motivated sales professional with a passion for customer service and a strong understanding of the small business market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to target and acquire small business clients.
  • Identify and prioritize potential clients within the defined market segment.
  • Analyze market trends, competition, and client needs to tailor sales strategies accordingly.
  • Prospect, identify, and qualify potential small business clients through various channels, including cold calls, door-to-door sales, attending networking events, and referrals.
  • Conduct in-depth research on client needs and pain points, and present customized solutions to address their janitorial and facility maintenance requirements.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding client goals and providing ongoing support and recommendations.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and market feedback.
  • Generate regular sales reports and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with the operations and service teams to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
  • Work closely with marketing to develop effective sales collateral and campaigns targeting small clients.
  • Complete proposals and deliver proposals to potential clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven track record of sales success, preferably in janitorial services or facility maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of the small business market and client needs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership experience and the ability to motivate and mentor a sales team.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
