About the position

The Regional Payroll Specialist at Hertrich Family of Automobile Dealerships is responsible for ensuring accurate processing and recording of payroll across multiple dealerships. This role involves managing payroll cycles, providing timely financial information, and maintaining employee benefits. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and be proficient in using payroll software to ensure personnel receive correct compensation in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Process Payroll
  • Work with Office Managers to maintain schedule and pay
  • Manage Employee Benefits
  • Post 401k
  • Maintain a 401K Schedule
  • Maintain Employee Database
  • Perform other duties as required by Management

Requirements

  • Experience in Paychex or Netchex is a plus
  • Detail-oriented
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a professional manner
  • Better than average ability in filing, tracking, and following up on paperwork
  • Proficient in Dealership accounting preferred
  • Basic knowledge of HR and tax-related regulations
  • Minimum high school diploma required
  • 2 years or more of related payroll experience preferred
  • 2 years general office/clerical experience or automobile dealership experience helpful
